Astros leading the Angels 5-3 after 6 innings. If Houston manages to finish the sweep, the Angels will be 0.5 games away from last place in the AL West. :p

Man the Angels are in some serious trouble. Almost unfathomable to get swept by the Astros .. it's not over yet of course but not looking good for LA.

You take it. No, YOU take it.

Since I can't be fined for ripping umpires anymore, let me take this opportunity to express my displeasure w/ Angel Hernandez.
Chipper Jones @RealCJ10
Even worse than that, there were 2 other umpires looking at it with him. What the hell were they lookin at?? Musta been "get away day"!
Chipper Jones @RealCJ10
What good is instant replay if u don't have umpires who interpret it correctly? Some course of action has to be taken w/ umps.
Chipper Jones @RealCJ10
I can see the powers that be in the MLB offices, rolling their eyes, thinking to themselves, "oh no, Angel is at it again"!

Let's go ESPN! Do an article. Make it happen. Ask questions. Demand accountability.

Even ESPN has no faith in the Angels anymore...

Do you know the Angels have yet to win two games in a row this year?

on the glass half full (of dirty water) side of things, that must mean they've had no extended losing streaks.

Re: Other Games 5/9/2013
This has been mentioned in the umpiring thread but I thought I'd point it out here too--both the Astros manager and all four umpires showed a pretty terrible understanding of the rules regarding substituting relief pitchers
