Whatever happened to Jorge Cantu?

Has he really suddenly forgotten how to hit?

If he's lost favor in Tampa, I wonder what it would cost to obtain him.

He hasn't done anything well this year. I looked at his stats about a month ago, and they're pretty pathetic. He's apparently past the days where he was an offensive force. He strikes out like a mo-fo.

I went to Jorge Cantu's World http://jorgecantu.mlblogs.com/ to find out, but the last time he posted here was August 2006.

He's on the Rays' 25-man roster, and played on June 9 vs. the Marlins, when he went 2 for 3 to raise his season BA to .293 in 41 AB.

he was sent down for like 10 games and aws then called back up.

He's currently being used in a bench role, but has the potential to be a top-end starting 2b (see 2004(.

He first didnt make the 25 man at the start of the season lost out to Iwarma(I think thats close) and Upton. At first protested the move to AAA then started playing then Iwarma got hurt and has been up since due to other injurys on the team.

We should wait a year then trade Kozma for him.
