did you see Ted Lilly get tossed on Sunday Night Baseball? How can Hudson beem Soriano with the first pitch of a game and Renteria throw a punch at second and not get tossed? Does that make any sense?

Renteria didn't throw a punch; he threw an elbow. Notwithstanding that useful distinction, he should have been kicked out. As for Lilly getting thrown out, that was appropriate if the umpire truly believed Lilly was trying to hit Renteria. There doesn't *have* to be a warning first.
