Cardinals have a 30-23 (.566 w%) record against teams at or above .500. Aggregate record of these teams stands at 643-535 (.546 w%).
Cardinals have a 37-36 (.507 w%) record against teams below .500. Aggregate record of these teams stands at 566-748 (.431 w%).
If you take out the games in which the Cardinals have played, the winning teams have a record of 620-505 (.551 w%) and the losing teams have a record of 530-711 (.427 w%).
so in a nutshell,
Cardinals against winning teams = .566
The rest of the MLB against winning teams (that have been on our schedule) = .449
Cardinals against losing teams = .507
The rest of the MLB against losing teams (that have been on our schedule) = .573

I'm frankly surprised we're still above .500 against losing teams. Doesn't look like it's going to be the case tomorrow though.
SSS and all that jazz but there's a pretty striking difference between the team's performance against better teams vs that against lesser teams. We're about 6 games better than the rest of the league against the "good" teams but 5 games worse than the rest of the league against "bad" teams. I'm sure the Braves series will even it out some (we swept them in 4 games earlier in the year).
