Easy for you to say...

I'll definitely suck it up and root for the Reds. Most of my extended family lives there and I still remember growing up and visiting my Grandma, no matter where we lived and listening to the Reds game on the porch on the radio. I would also love to see Scott Rolen get to the World Series again and do some serious damage.

Regarding the revenue conversation, Cincy is a similar market to St. Louis where they also draw from Northern Kentucky and Eastern Indiana.

However, I really believe they are set up to go on a 2000-09 Cardinal-esque run this decade. The tide may be turning.

Pretty tough to predict an entire decade.

Their cornerstones are less talented and/or older than the Cardinals had this past decade.

They have no ace, and their best hitter would've been our 4th best player behind Pujols, Edmonds and Rolen most of the decade.

I think you're overstating the Reds, because the Cardinals collapse. This has way more to do with the Cards falling apart, then the Reds actually being all that good.

I think you're selling them short. I think they're clearly the favorites for the next century.
