Holy [expletive]. I watched his inning against the Brewers just now, I've never seen anything like it. Ever.

So, how long until he joins the long list of TJ victims?

I don't know ... but I'm telling you you can't see the ball. He had one reading on his fastball below 100 - his last pitch was a ground out at 99 - but all the rest were triple digits with 103 tops.

He threw some curve balls too, and forget it. You have to start your swing so early that you have no chance. You have to guess with him. Either start it early and commit or look off speed and try to hit that. It's your only chance.

Good. 3 up 3 down. I mean he doesn't have to spot it, he just needs to hit a 17" x 2 foot area and he's good.

I wish the Cards had a good GM like the Reds do to acquire such talent.

I just saw him. It's not enough that he throws like he does, but he also has a funky delivery and hides the ball well. We don't have to ask where Walt was on this deal.

Very smooth mechanics too. Though anything can happen to a pitchers arm, I dont see him having a lot of issues
