The other tempest in a teapot that came out of St. Louis was that apparently some players and others associated with the team thought it was unprofessional for the Brewers to untuck their jerseys on the field after victories. It’s a tradition started by centerfielder Mike Cameron, who does it out of tribute to his father, who untucked his shirt after coming home from work each day.
I was gone all weekend so just catching up on some threads. The above comment is intriguing. Really? Interesting. So, if lets say, Albert's dad, dropped his pants every day after coming home from work....the Cards should honor that tradition! It's almost as though the Brewers are acting like rebels, hoping that will propel them to actually make the post season. I don't know...I can't figure them out. I just wish the Cards would stop losing to them.....
I can't believe this would really bother the Cards.

I think this is sort of the last straw....they are sick of getting beat by the Brewers, then it's actions like Milly-Vanilly....you add in the pulled shirts and I imagine the Cards (not all but some) view it as disrespectful.

I like the Brewers response of shut up and beat us if you don't like it, otherwise stop crying. I see it the same way. Just shut up and quit losing and then whining.

Mets beat 'em again. 3 in a row.

What's the old poker expression: the winners tell jokes and the losers say- deal the cards.

I don't remember the exact schedule, but it seems the Brewers and Cubs have lots of games with each other, plus they play some with the Mets and Phils. Not an easy row to hoe, it may not be over yet- if we can get on a winning streak .
