Arguing on the internet is like buying a solar-powered flashlight. Think about that.
Solar powered flashlights vary in features and capabilities. A typical solar flashlight can give useful levels of illumination on objects up to 50 metres away, and beam may be visible for much longer distances. The solar cells used for battery charging have almost an indefinite life expectancy. A solar powered flashlight may give several hours of light after being charged during the day. [3] These flashlights may be designed to be impact resistant, weatherproof, and to float. [4] [5]

I would say argumentative debate stimulates the mind regardless of the forum, whether online or in real life. It can lead to new insights about your beliefs, your life, or anything within the whole universe. It also allows for a different medium, where answers can be formulated in a detailed manner, while conversing at a coffee shop and firing answers from-the-hip leads to confusion and less insight because you cannot create the same refinement both in language and topical structure as you can with online posts.

And solar powered flashlights are not useless. Yes they require charging during the day, but they operate on the exact same principles as other devices you already have that cannot charge while in use, and I'm inferring that you're okay with the fuel management of these devices.

Sure, a solar powered flashlight can't charge at night, but you fill up your car/truck all the time, and that can't generate its own power while in use and away from a gas station. You probably use a cellphone, and that cannot gain power when its actually fulfilling its primary purpose - being used wirelessly on a battery charge to remotely connect with anywhere in the world. At least the solar-powered flashlight has the ability for self-regeneration, whereas the other devices require intermediaries; a powerplant+transformers+powerlines+electrical box+outlet, well+refinery+physical transportation+gas station, etc, to convert a source of energy; nuclear, solar, oil, coal, etc, to usable power.

And another thing to mention, Miguel Batista hasn't been on the team for like 10 months. Sanchez is currently not on the team either...

If you LIKE arguing on the internet, or find some kind of value in it then you are free to engage in it if you wish...and you're free to purchase solar powered flashlights.

I am interested in one of those solar powered cold sores. Though, being coastal, I'd be better off with a wind farm.
