I'm watching the Cubs-Royals game and noticing there is no Bob Brenly. Is he gone this season? If so, who is his replacement?

Haven't heard. Maybe he left after he didn't get the manager's job when Dusty was fired, the way he did in Arizona when Buck Showalter was fired.

He was part of the broadcast last Sunday against the White Sox. I haven't heard of any changes up here at all during the off-season at all.

OK, thanks. He's actually not a bad announcer at all, once you get over the fact that you're dealing with Bob Brenly.

Bob Brenly is just taking a break from some ST games. The replacement is former pitcher Dan Plesac who normally works Cubs pre/post game analysis on Comcast Sportsnet Chicago.

who just doesn't stop talking. I would be surprised if his sermons didn't continue through the commercial breaks.
