Yes. This is correct.

Question: How good of a defensive CF is Hunter Pence?

He didn't win a Gold Glove, so he can't be too bad.

Not good enought to cover CF at Ten-Run Field. I made my first trip there in September, and I think Rodriguez's fabled flyball to the hill went further than Albert's homer.

Szymborski's take is pretty good, that this isn't much of a deal, except for the political cover it gives to move Myers back to the rotation. Lidge has one year before FA and he's got some well-known issues, so some of the names that were being thrown around seem silly in retrospect.

Pence is frustrating. He has a strong arm, but is wildly erratic with his throws; putting him in RF concerns me for this reason. He is a decent CF, but MMP calls for a superior defensive CF.

Pair it with the talk that the Astros are targeting Castillo for 2b, and you're looking at a significant defensive upgrade up the middle, which is a good way to improve your pitching when there are no pitcehrs to be had.

Where's Wily Tavares when you need him?

That would fall under the "no use crying over spilled milk" category.
