I'll dig it up. It was about the Cal's last All-Star game. I'm sure I have a hard copy. I about lost it when he read it.

Joe Morgan's a good guy. How can you not like him? He deserves this accolade. Don't think he'll get in, but it's nice to be on the ballot.

Actually, Kubek was a fairly average player whose reputation was inflated by the fact that he was the shortstop for the *New York Yankees*.

.262/.303/.364 is nothing to get excited about.

Interestingly enough, his closest offensive comp is Jack Wilson - followed by Ron Oester and Joe Girardi. Adam Kennedy is #8. Christian Guzman is #5.
