Definitely agree about Cowherd. What was your email?Leroy wrote:redbirdjazzz wrote:but I used to love his radio show. I'd sit in study hall in 11th grade and listen to him for an hour everyday. He was hilarious;
I agree, his was a great show. So great that one of my e-mails got the huge e-mail of the day! I could post it if you wish.
As far as football, he's ok. I didn't like Dennis Miller at all.
And Cowherd...I could stand him for two days and gave up.

I'll dig it up. It was about the Cal's last All-Star game. I'm sure I have a hard copy. I about lost it when he read it.redbirdjazzz wrote:Definitely agree about Cowherd. Joe Morgan's a good guy. How can you not like him? He deserves this accolade. Don't think he'll get in, but it's nice to be on the ballot.

Maybe there'd be more love around here for Joe if he tried some new hairstyles?

Actually, Kubek was a fairly average player whose reputation was inflated by the fact that he was the shortstop for the *New York Yankees*.
.262/.303/.364 is nothing to get excited about.
Interestingly enough, his closest offensive comp is Jack Wilson - followed by Ron Oester and Joe Girardi. Adam Kennedy is #8. Christian Guzman is #5.
