Outfielder to the Rays for pitching, what could go wrong?

I was just starting to like Palacios.

But I am happy with the return.

Fair deal. Bullpen upgraded.

I don't remember the last trade with the Rays that went our way.

couldnt care less about losing palacios, though there is probably some upside in that bat. but seriously wtf...there wasnt a comparable arm on the market they could have just spent a couple million on?

guys what the [expletive] is this front office even doing? do they have a plan? do they do any due diligence on anyone?

Moves Scott further up the mlb depth chart. Not sure if that’s a positive or not, tbh. Helps the bullpen, which is a positive.
Still not in love with outfield - maybe less so now, though doubt Palacios was a needle mover. Noot, Walker, Edman with Carlson, Burleson… Scott doesn’t scream strength to me. Hoping Winn is great and Edman doesn’t have to go back to SS or we will get very thin in IF and OF.

Not a big fan of this deal.

First of all, stop trading with the Rays, Mo. They are smarter than you. It never works out in our favor.

Second, I was excited about Palacios. Not an impact player but had some good skills and brought some energy to the team.

Lastly, as others have mentioned, we could have gotten a better bullpen piece with only giving up a few million. Maybe someone a little more durable.

It's not a big enough move to be upset about, but I don't like it.
