We were discussing this in Flashchat last night. It definately is his dad, and his brother also has posted a bit. It seems that his desire to get Colby to the Braves would put both of his kids close to home and in the same organization. I just think that his bashing of TLR or (Ducussa) does not make any sense and does sound very CT-ish. And it common knowledge that Cardinal brass does read some of the websites and I imagine they can't like the sound of things. Obviously no trade is even close to being talked about.

What makes you say it's definitely his dad?

I want to apologize to the forum readers for the posts made the past 5 or 6 days from this screen name. Also some PM's that were sent with misinformation in them. These posts were inappropriate.

The truth of the matter is Colby has been working on improving his hitting by using the entire field and hasn't figured things out yet. There is no major conspiracy taking place as the posts imminating from this screen name made it out to be. Colby is just a 21 year old baseball player who is struggling. There is no one to blame but the opposing pitchers. Although it may appear differently, we are not all insane here at the Rasmus household. Sorry for the confusion.

does Colby have any 14 year old brothers who could have done this? That would probably explain the Rasmus + Garcia for Smoltz bit.

I bet Colby is a bit red faced right now if he knows about this.

Good. Sounds like some hacked into his account, or a family member/family friend got into it sometime and posted stuff as a joke.

He went back and deleted all of his controversial posts, and I've been ignoring that forum for a long time, so I didn't pick up on much of it. It seems he isn't crazy about Duncan's 2-seamer/4-seamer philosophy or the way Mather was treated recently either.

Maybe this is the Rasmus family equivalent of the Drunk Kyle post.
