Just going off my memory...

AL - Mauer, Youkilis, Pedroia, Jeter, Rodriguez, Ramirez, Hamilton and Ichiro

NL - Soto, Berkman, Utley, Ramirez, LARRY JONES, Braun, Soriano and Fukudome

Can't believe I couldn't remember Chipper.

And I can't believe Pujols had to be chosen by Hurdle.

4 more homers, 11 more rbi, 29 more runs scored, 10 more doubles, 3 more triples, basically the same avg and ops+

no thread since many know the AS game is just a joke now. Yes, nice to see Cards in it, but the game is a pathetic joke.

I think he means the players not voting him in.

It's just competition with New York. A-Rod was the leading vote-getter. If you wanna get analytical.. just basic decimals...

Pujols: .471 OBP .624 SLG .350 AVG
Rodriguez: .407 OBP .596 SLG .320 AVG

Obviously A-Rod has good numbers but Pujols' are better. See, people in NY just sit up there and do their 25 votes on MLB.com and land A-Rod here every year.
