I didn't realize Robinson was a fifth-round pick, like Skip. Kindred spirits. I guess we know who will be the second baseman in 2013.

I want Rasmus to play everyday. Even if he struggles against lefties, I want him in CF.
Brian Barton, where are thou?

That was tongue-in-cheek. I'm a proud member of the "I refuse to use blue font" club.greenback44 wrote:Let's not go overboard here. Projection-wise, the Anointed One only has something like 50 points of OPS on Scrappy.phinstd wrote:Only because several pitchers will actually post a higher OPS...InvincibleCakeEater wrote:Robinson being a perfect #9 hitter probably had something to do with this.

Did Robinson ever play any infield at all?

Yes, I saw him a couple times at A-ball. Really I didn't need to see the guy, because his height and weight convey the notion just as effectively.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:Have you ever seen Robinson play? ZiPS is a little harsher on Robinson than Chone (and more so than I remember), so make it 50-75 points. Robinson's a better option against LHP than Rasmus.
I don't think 'common sense' understands the platoon advantage particularly well.

Rasmus is a .730 OPS lefty according to Chone, so by the numbers you should platoon him with just about any RHH warm body if they can play the position well enough defensively.

Isn't a good outfielder *supposed* to make a cyst? You know, along with putouts?
