27/34. Only feel bad about 2 I didn't get.Radbird wrote:Can you name the last names in baseball where a 30.0+ career WAR has been achieved by both a player as a hitter and a player as a pitcher?
Missed 10 including three or four that I shouldn't have.

30, but I would have gotten several fewer if they weren't listed alphabetically.

I started to play this and realized I have no idea how to play this. What? I was looking for Babe Ruth because I assumed he was one of the few players that got a 30 WAR whatever that is as both a pitcher and a hitter.Radbird wrote:Can you name the last names in baseball where a 30.0+ career WAR has been achieved by both a player as a hitter and a player as a pitcher?

So my score was 0. I got a 0 on this. I missed 34. I think. I don't know really, because I don't understand the rules.

I'm going to give away an answer here, but...jim wrote:I started to play this and realized I have no idea how to play this. What? Edgar Martinez has 30+ WAR and is a hitter. Pedro Martinez has 30+ WAR and is a pitcher. Therefore, Martinez is a correct answer.

Definitely. I'm pretty sure I'd have had no idea what to do with "Frank" and "Jim" without knowing what part of the alphabet to think about.Gashouse wrote:30, but I would have gotten several fewer if they weren't listed alphabetically.

MLers with more than 10 homers after the age of 40.
That was harder than I thought it would be. 3 or 4 I probably should have gotten.
