I always thought the logo was clever, but really? BM? Did no one notice that when they were designing it?
I've been familiar with that logo for 25 years. I never noticed the MB before. I always thought it was a ball in a glove.

What is that stupid [expletive] gold thing under the M on these dumb ass purple hats? Is it a hop?
It's a blue hat, isn't it? And I like it, looks a helluva lot better than this....

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I know, but I love it.
Let's not go crazy here. The logo is cool. The multi-colored hat was cool in the same way that, say, disco was cool. In other words, it wasn't then and it's even less so now.

Classic hats/logos would include the Red Sox, the Yankees, the Giants, the Dodgers, the Cardinals, even the Cubs. Not that Brewers logo, which is fun and nostalgic, but not classic. It's a classic in the same way that McDonalds McDLT burgers were a classic.

Can we save the purple insults for a team that actually had purple as a primary color? (Craig Counsell's 2001 D'backs)

The ball and glove are awesome, IMO. Though the hat I remember was all blue with that logo. Don't recall ever seeing the one with the yellow background before.

Their current logo looks incredibly generic. The BM glove might be slightly cartoonish, but at least it's unique.

As a kid, I loved the Brewers and Expos hats when I realized the pictures had little letters in them that stood for the team. NEATO!

I bet jim would have recognized it if it was a tea bag with a string.
