Cmon Jim, as a lifelong beer drinker ya gotta know the four basic ingredients to make beer. Yeast and hops were too ugly to put on a logo, water is boring, so of course its the grain (barley in most cases, add in wheat for those wimppy wheat beers)

I always thought the logo was clever, but really? BM? Did no one notice that when they were designing it?

I think it's just to represent how you feel living in Milwaukee.

What is that stupid [expletive] gold thing under the M on these dumb ass purple hats? Is it a hop?

It's a blue hat, isn't it? And I like it, looks a helluva lot better than this....

Oh come on now, that lower hat is classic.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I know, but I love it.

I actually like the classic Brewer uniform better than the current one.

Now that's greatness, imo. :D

Also, I think the Cardinal white uni is one of the nicest in the big leagues. It's hard for me to pay the red birds a compliment as my "hatred" runs deep (back to 1982), but the Card unis are pretty special.

Now, if you want to talk ugly....

The Astros and Padres unis of the 80's are fugly. So, too, is the Padre uniform with the camo. Yuck!

Milwaukee is next to Lake Michigan. That's how I've always looked at it.

That, and living in Milwaukee when it's 30 below windchill, and you have 5 feet of snow to shovel, makes you blue...

When the mountains turn blue, it is cold enough to not taste like piss. Duh.

Yeah, I've always thought the classic "MB" logo for the Brewers was one of the best logos in baseball. Baseball glove and ball, and it happens to be designed such that it also shows the initials of your team name? Brilliant. I'm glad they brought it back for when they wear their occasional alternate/retro jersey.

It's better than the stupid gold colored uniforms with "Cervesas" or whatever it was written on it (whatever brewer is in Spanish - I know cervesa is beer, so brewer has to be a variation of that).

And if you want an ugly uniform, look no further than the 1976 White Sox...

MB, Milwaukee Brewers. The M is on the top. :P

Plus, it's in the shape of Wisconsin (I've always thought)...an added bonus.
