This pic is from the page of a yearly NJ charity cooking contest he helps judge.
Al is currently still involved in youth baseball and softball as a private clinical instructor throughout the State of NJ and is a charter member of the NJ Governor’s Committee to prevent steroid use in high school athletics.

Former Cardinal Albert Pujols just got his 3,090th career hit by singling off former Cardinal Shelby Miller.

Hey! Our boy Rosey is BACK!
Rosenthal came into the game in the ninth inning with the Nationals leading the Philadelphia Phillies 15-0. He walked Rhys Hoskins to open the inning before striking out Andrew Knapp. Rosenthal then walked Odubel Herrera and Cesar Hernandez to load the bases, gave up a run on a groundout by Maikel Franco, but retired Aaron Altherr on a flyout to end the game.
His ERA went from infinity to 72.00

It’s gonna take some time. Control usually isn’t good coming off TJ. For a guy who already had control issues, this could be expected. The fear is whoever signs him next year gets the good Rosie and you paid for his get right year.

I hope he does well.

It's not his fault he had the talent to pitch in the major leagues.

Allen Craig has announced his retirement from baseball.

Craig will join the Padres' front office as an advisor to baseball operations. The 34-year-old had a terrific three-year stretch for the Cardinals from 2011-13 when he batted .312/.364/.500, but he never was the same after suffering a foot injury.
