Post the name of a random 1980's major league player. The player does not have to be a Cardinal. I will start with the infamous Mike Laga. Mike's claim to fame came on September 15, 1986, when he hit a long foul ball completely out of Busch Stadium, the only player to ever hit a ball out of the stadium. In his career Mike hit 16 home runs with 5 of those coming in a Cardinals uniform.

Brunansky. Gotta be Bruno.

Hated him against. Loved him for.

Traded from for? Traded to for?

Cards got Bruno from the Twins in 1988 for Tom Herr, then traded him to Boston in 1990 for Lee Smith.

My random 1980's Cardinal is Mike Ramsey.

I'll cheat a bit and invoke the ghost of John Fulgham. 10-6 with a 2.53 ERA (151 +) 1.021 WHIP, and 75:26 K:BB in 146 IP in his rookie year 1979.

4-6 in 1980 before his shoulder crapped out and that was it.
