I gotta be honest. I have enjoyed his slump, just to make me feel better about us not wasting a fifth of a billion dollars on a guy. But at this point, I really want him to come out and hit like 3 mammoth homers in one game, then go on a tear for a few weeks. The dude was the best Cardinal in forty years - wait, fifty, I'm drunk. He left, it sucked, but he was still the best damn Cardinal since the 60s (I obviously never saw older games, but I have always tagged Gibson as my favorite pre-Maclowery Card). I feel bad now, and I'm totally rooting for him to go on an absurd tear for at least a month or two.

I'm on the C'Mon, Albert, Hit a Homer train. Choo choo.
