Nats take 3-1 lead to bottom 9. Henry Rodriguez on to close and he's all over the place. Two singles and a double make it 3-2 with no outs. Then a K and an out at the plate before a wild pitch scores the tying run and then strikes out Dee Gordon on another wild pitch and they have runners on 1st and 3rd with 2 outs and Gorzelanny comes in to pitch to Gwynn Jr. who lines out to send it to extras.

Good game. Harper impressed in opener.

Harper made a great throw to the plate that was not handled by the catcher...game tied 1-1

Give credit to hairston who knocked it away. Good baserunning. And someone needed to slap the look off of harpets face after the play. I appreciate the talent but already have decided I don't like him at all.

Did you see him flip off his batting helmet while running towards 2nd after his double? That was a more egotastic move than w/e face he was making after the throw.

Kemp is leading in 2 out of 3 Triple Crown categories and he's tied for first in the other.

I don't think I've ever heard "MVP...MVP...MVP" chants in April before like they were doing for Kemp before his walkoff last night.

The fans (rightfully IMO) feel he was robbed last year. This year he looks even better.
