Not me. I think the risk of Beltran in CF for more than one game a week, or Craig at 2B at all, is too great.
Why worry about Beltran in CF? He's a good outfielder. (if it's injury related you can put that to bed).
Lot more running involved in CF. Jay's a near gold-glover himself. Why take the risk? Why do so many people want to take the risk of losing Beltran and/or Craig for extended periods of time? Bad enough we've lost Carp for the season, Berkman's only played 14 of first 83 games, etc.
Why take the "risk" (I'm not really buying the added risk btw)? Because the reward is higher. Let 'em play, if he blows a knee he blows a knee. We aren't asking him to be a pulling guard, or catch, or take Carp's position in the rotation. We are asking a guy that plays the outfield almost every night to play the outfield. Not a huge stretch. The amount of extra stress everyone is talking about is pretty much overblown by about 1,000,000,000,000 times. If you managed a team afraid of that, then you are screwed.
