You can see in this grab that the ball is below the glove. The leather is all behind the ball. It then bounces off the ground and up into the glove.

If its an upside down snow cone catch, couldn't the momentum of the ball have forced the glove down and resulted in the same picture? To me it appears he's got a hold of it.

I think it's a catch. I'm looking at that pic and it looks to me like the glove is under the ball. I'll tell you this much - it was close enough where nobody had any business overturning the call. That was a huge mistake the umps.
