P.S. Bernie Brewer got syphilis from a lot lizard at a truck stop in Oshkosh or Tomah or Sauk du Fallswekah Prairie or whatever remote [expletive] French/Indian-named town you want to pick.

Well, let's list what we hate!

I don't like those professionally-made signs you see at our playoff games. They are all lame.
I hate how with the new stadium there are like 67 different ticket price levels. Yeah, I realize a lot of places do that now...but it's gimmicky, and just another way to bilk fans out of money. Basically they have very few cheap seats, and dangle those in front of people to make games "seem" cheaper. Then when you go to buy tickets, those cheap seats are never available and you end up paying quite a bit extra to get into a section with only a slightly better view.

Not baseball-related...but my relatives that live in StL never, ever leave the city. I see the same thing with a lot of my Chicago friends, so that's not unique to StL either. There is nothing wrong with not traveling much, but I've found a lot of them lack perspective as a result. Maybe it's how I was raised or because of where I live, but I love to travel. And when I lived in Chicago, I actually traveled MORE, not less, because airfare was was a lot cheaper, and they had so many more direct flights to different places. It was one of my favorite benefits of living there. For some of my friends in StL and Chicago, a 4 hour road trip outside the city is unimaginable. But sitting in a 2 hour traffic jam on the interstate is just part of big-city life. Funny thing though is that my Milwaukee friends love to road trip, too, and it's one reason we've stayed so close.

You know what would make Brewer baseball more awesome? If it's Packer football.

Also, they're probably serving lutefisk.

Mmmmmm......lutefisk.

Also, I'll take our July weather over Missouri's any day. It's the other 11 months that are the problem.
