I love how this one is pronounced like a magician who molests people. "The Great Fondlac"
If you people are going to rip on Fon du Lac at least spell the [expletive] right.
Chrissakes, it's like you don't even speak French-Indian. Potsers.
Nice to see you around Sign.
you do realize that it is spelled Fond du Lac?
And you don't need to spell it right rip the lovely racist burg of Fond du Lac. There really is nothing nice to say about it except that it makes you appreciate just about any other city that you might live in.
What nice thing could you say about a town that looks up to Oshkosh as a metropolis of culture?
Oh and jim. The lake is a [expletive]. [expletive] nasty nasty place. It is a nice place to slaughter sturgeon every January. Otherwise just drive another hour and find yourself a nice lake.
I first heard that song while crossing the Illinois-Wisconsin border into Wisconsin. It was eerie. It was also the first time I'd ever heard of John Prine.

HAAHA.......I guess I'm the potser. I really thought it was Fon du Lac. I've been spelling it wrong my whole life. Particularly ironic since I was a French minor in college.....
Also, the rest of this post is extremely accurate. FonDDDDDD du Lac is a [expletive] hole. Lake Winnebago sucks too. 15 feet deep. I've puked deeper puddles than that...
