Who is @FernandoTatis17?

Post by Cole Burns »

Fernando Tatis' twitter account is both highly entertaining and highly suspect. It says "official" but it's not verified by Twitter to be his. Also, no one has come out and definitively said either way that it's fake or real. If it's real, he's one strange cat that loves to tweet out the most random of stuff. It's one of the best ignored mysteries in sports today.

Then, this happened:

Fernando's tweet from yesterday.

Ok, fess up. Who is it? I know it's gotta be someone on this board. That is too epic and too MS Paint-ish to not be GRB-related.

I agree it is very strange.

When he tweeted about the anny of the 2 grand slams in 1 inning, he mentioned Chan Ho Park....Very odd. Yeah, he tried to pass it off as not meaning much. I don't think many players would put out a tweet like this. They might retweet or reply to someone who congratulated them about something like that.

The account has some very, very odd. A couple other gems of his:
i never understood starwars why does yoda look like master splinters dad
flying a helicopter seem like it takes pure skill and dedication 24/7
i seen a guy wearing a fedora and sunglasses inside starbucks earlier i ask him wheres the saxophone and he told me to "get lost"

His tweet entitled this "RBI," but I would call it "Desperately Trying to Be Beaned by the Wildest Pitcher in Baseball."

Former Cardinals outfielder Fernando Tatís once famously hit 2 Grand Slams in one inning and set a Major Leage record with 8 RBI in one frame but that may not be his biggest feat. Lately it seems that Fernando has been lighting up the world of graphic design and his all original creations are truly a sight to behold and the world needs to stand up and take notice. It appears that Fernando recently came across a new way to produce art and the results really speak for themsleves.
