What the [expletive] is going on there?!?!Gashouse wrote:$18 will get you this bloody mary:
Adding cheese cubes to a Bloody would be wacky enough. Adding random-ass bit of beef jerky would also be wacky enough. Adding a mini-cheeseburger is WAY more than wacky enough.
Doing all three? WHAT THE [expletive], MINNESOTA?

I had the same thought. It's really kind of a failure if it's not.heyzeus wrote:But is it a juicy lucy?

The whole "crazy" bloody mary thing has gone too far. Time to get back to basics I say.

I hate parks with nothing around them - US Cellular and Milwaukee come to mind. Miami is borderline - the restaurants in Little Havana are just far enough away to where you can't just park your car once. St. Louis is pretty good, Boston and Chicago are great, Arizona is fine. Those are the places i've been to.Michael wrote:Pretty much.AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:Going to a game is like going to a casino, imo. It's all entertainment money. And, you don't know what's going to happen. To kvetch about prices (while a legit gripe) is pointless. You know it's going to be a gouging, so adjust accordingly.
The nice thing about Wrigley is eating and drinking before and after the game isn't much of a hassle.
But I will say that the Cell does have good food. The food in Wrigley is absolutely disgusting, so you really don't want to eat in the park.

Good question. I doubt it.heyzeus wrote:But is it a juicy lucy?
Target field is right downtown, so it's easy to hit bars and restaurants before the game. Pretty cheap parking within a mile of the stadium and a light rail station right at the stadium. Should be a good ASG scene this summer.
