I wouldn't mind having Cespedes. I know his OBA is a concern, but he's got power and he has the arm to play RF.

Sounds like an attempt to build some trade value back into Cespedes. The Sawx don't have a lot of leverage there anyway.Jocephus wrote:

Bill Madden of the New York Daily News was told by a "Red Sox insider" that Cespedes "marches to his own drum" and that the team's coaches "all hate him." However, Farrell said that he was "totally surprised and caught off guard" by that assertion. Cespedes could still get traded this winter, but it will likely have more to do with his contract situation and the team's outfield logjam than whether he was popular among the team's coaches.
