Yeah, Rolen admitting that he was hoping they left Clemens in gives me goosebumps. And then taking the first pitch deep.

Wayne Hagin wasn't in the booth for very long, but his "A FLAIR FOR THE DRAMATIC" call of the Edmonds homer was the best call I've ever heard from a Cardinal broadcaster.

Good times. The sixteenth pennant was amazing. 105 wins. They should have won the World Series though, but that's another story.

I remember thinking, in real time, that lifting Brad Lidge was a serious mistake. The Cardinals could not hit him. They should have left him in that game until St. Louis got a hit or his arm fell off, whichever came first.

This gave me new respect for that Edmonds catch. I knew it was an amazing and important catch, but this really put into light just how incredible it was.
