Altitude would really make things interesting in Mexico City.

Even if they used a Humidor the ball would be flying out of there more then what Colorado had prior to the Humidor.

i feel like baseball would thrive in portland, but that seems to be lower on MLB's list of priorities than montreal and.... somewhere else.

New Oakland stadium looks cool too.

Would love baseball in Portland but Mariners will try to block it.

Wouldn't you want to face the river, Mt. Hood, all the bridges, rather than a hill? Also the team behind that is led by the fired voice of the Blazers and a former state senator. Maybe there's someone with money and swagger in the group, but it seems pretty unimpressive.

I'm not very excited about it either way. But we're good fans here, we let the Blazers rip our hearts out over and over again and still fill the Rose Garden. The Timbers season ticket waiting list is literally 15 years long. Under Armor is moving a major operation here to join Adidas and Nike. And for all the beer snobs who jizz when you mention Wes Anderson, there are a lot more regular families.

Of course they would probably be a teal and purple team named something stupid like Portland Rain ("Beavers" or go straight to hell) or something. And I'm a Cardinals fan and have been since I was a child. Traffic would be an even bigger disaster, and the terms for the stadium have to be right (it worked out well for Portland with the Timbers, but it seems like some other city would take it right up the ass for MLB). At the end of the day, I'm not sure I'd go watch the Portland Tempest much more than I do the Mariners.

They'll probably still be playing in the Coliseum until then though.

The Rays should move there. It would require realignment. Tigers to the East would make the most sense.
