I've kinda thought Arturo Reyes could give a quality start but idk, not a prospect guru.

I think we are at our best when reyes pitches the 6th and 7th innings.
With leake out, Maybe we are better served with him in the rotation.
Feels like the cards are reaching their breaking point with respect to injuries.

I fully expect Lance Lynn to start doing some of his rehabbing in major league games by the end of the year.

A week ago, Leake was our second most reliable starter. Think about that for a second.

Having two effective pitchers in your bullpen has a way of making GMs eat crow on statements like that.Magneto2.0 wrote:They said he won't pitch for the team this year yesterdayTheoSqua wrote:I fully expect Lance Lynn to start doing some of his rehabbing in major league games by the end of the year.

As bad as the Cardinals pitching has been at times this year, they are 9th in MLB in pitching fWAR and 5th in the NL. Think about that!dmarx114 wrote:A week ago, Leake was our second most reliable starter. Think about that for a second.

This. This is the spackled-together pixie-dusted playoff-winning rotation.Magneto2.0 wrote:Martinez

They've been unlucky this year. Both Waino and Leake FIP is nearly a run lower than their ERA.pioneer98 wrote:As bad as the Cardinals pitching has been at times this year, they are 9th in MLB in pitching fWAR and 5th in the NL.
