At least Trevor is throwing strikes.

Rosey still shaky. Can he succeed in the majors without 97, 98 mph? Looks like he was hitting 95 tonight.

Trevor was getting rocked by minor leaguers.
Mop up only.
Don't want him near the playoff roster.

Tomorrow would be a great day to finally get to 10 games over .500 with the Cubs on deck.

Bowman is actually a really decent pitcher. Rosenthal is apparently not.planet planet wrote:I don't trust Rosenthal as far as I can throw him. He should be given Bowman status.

Great time for the bats to wake up. Give the important arms in the pen a night off.

Giants clinging to a 1-0 lead in the top of the 7th. Bochy had a relief pitcher (Steve Okert) bat for himself to keep him in the game. It was his first MLB at bat.

It was Bochy's own fault for not doing a double switch.pioneer98 wrote:Giants clinging to a 1-0 lead in the top of the 7th. Bochy had a relief pitcher (Steve Okert) bat for himself to keep him in the game. It was his first MLB at bat.

I was fine with Rosenthal. His issues earlier in the year were clearly control and command. His fastball sat 95 last night but still hit 98. Almost all strikes. Working his way back, I'm very happy with the performance. A little early to write him off.
