Good point. I don't want to hear anyone complaining that we didn't get Eaton when this was the price it took to acquire him.

I certainly won't! I want no part of that and I can totally understand why the ChiSox would take Giolito over some combination of Luke Weaver and other parts. We had no chance.

I figured this would happen with Eaton. Cards are never making that kind of trade.

Oh my, Nats also gave up Reynaldo Lopez. Have yourself a week, Rick Hahn.

Lopez by himself might be the rough equivalent of Luke Weaver.

Could you imagine Mo giving up Reyes and Weaver for Adam Eaton? We would skewer him alive.

Nats were desperate after missing out on Sale. This is a terrible move on their part. Just terrible.

Dane Dunning looks legit, too. This is an incredible haul. I love Adam Eaton, but he's not a guy you unload your system for.

Let's review:

The White Sox have acquired the best position player prospect, three top 100 pitching prospects and the Nats' 2016 first rounder in the last two days. And the center fielder they got from the Red Sox looks like he could be a legitimate four-tool center fielder.
