He was taken in the AAA phase, correct? In that phase he's ours. We don't have to carry him all season at any certain level.
That said, he's way too tightly wound and doesn't have the bat speed to overcome his swing limitations nor does he have the athleticism to make the necessary adjustments.
He should've taken the million + we offered him out of high school, but his parents are brilliant and he doesn't need to worry about money.
