As was referenced in another thread, this is at least the third year of the last 4 that we've gotten a healthier, stronger Matt Adams" story. Did he completely let himself go in winter 2014-15?

From Derrick Goold's chat (which can't be copy and pasted from the slideshow), Peralta has been "working, like obviously Adams has, to improve his fitness and get stronger, healthier, which he could not do during the season because of injury."

Even Goold has to A) shoehorn in a reference about Matt Adams and B) make a reference to Peralta being in the BSOHL.

We didn't even have to wait until spring training to get an in-depth story on Adams being in the BSOHL.

He doesn't vote for Bonds and Clemens, and then he does a BSOHL puff-piece? Shame on you, Goold!

Bonds and Clemens can go in the hall right after Joe Jackson. But I'd prefer they go in with Pete Rose. Never.

I think Mo works out with these guys and that's why he's always so reluctant to trade them/optimistic about their next season.

Is that "never" as in "as soon as all the other racists, cheats and scumbags are taken out of the Hall? Like Bud Selig, who was central to collusion and turning a blind eye to steroid use?" That sort of "never"?

Or the guys like Mike Schmidt who admitted to doing greenies (amphetamines) throughout their career?
