"I don't have no sweat about it. It's all good, I'm going to try to get myself ready to suit up and get ready to ball out this year."
You're 30. Stop it.
You're 30. Stop it.

You don't stop being a swaggy bro just because you're 30.

http://www.stltoday.com/sports/columns/ ... d238e.htmlFormer Cardinals outfielder Colby Rasmus is still haunted by former manager Tony La Russa.
In fact, he blames La Russa for the fact he didn't win a Gold Glove for his defensive work in 2016 for the Houston Astros — as if La Russa would care enough to interfere with the selection process.
Now Rasmus is a Tampa Bay Ray, and a bitter one at that. Listen to his rant to Tampa Bay Times scribe Marc Topkin:
"You know how the game is. In the show they don't necessarily like long hair and the redneck folks, that's just the way it goes. My good old friend Tony La Russa he has a lot of pull in the game, so you never know. I just try to play the game how I play it. I play hard. I play the game kind of (all) out, and rough, so I've hurt myself along the way. When it comes to back, injuries, they set you back for awards like that.

I don't give a damn that Rasmus is the finest center fielder in a half-century! No long-haired, country-ass, redneck sumbitch is going to soil the history of the game by joining the club--got it? You tell the Rawlings people that Rasmus is blackballed forever! He'll will never--NEVER--win that award!

If you zoom in on that picture you will notice two things.JL21 wrote:
1. He has lots of stubble visible on his cheeks and above his lip, so for some unknown [expletive] reason he has actually shaved his beard to look like that. Although along the same lines, I'm not sure if it would be worse to know that he couldn't grow a full beard but still worked on that partial atrocity of a beard for the past six months or so.
2. He has something stuck in his teeth.

If that was true, about 80% of baseball players would be ineligible for any award.sighyoung wrote: "You know how the game is. In the show they don't necessarily like long hair and the redneck folks, that's just the way it goes.
