Will Reyes get in some minor league innings in August like how Lynn got in last season?

I doubt it; they'll probably be more cautious with his recovery timetable.JoeMcKim wrote:Will Reyes get in some minor league innings in August like how Lynn got in last season?

Plus Lynn had his surgery in October, while Reyes had his in February. A similar time table would put him ready to throw in some games in December. So obviously the best case is he's pitching in ST.CardsofSTL wrote:I doubt it; they'll probably be more cautious with his recovery timetable.JoeMcKim wrote:Will Reyes get in some minor league innings in August like how Lynn got in last season?

Is it possible for a modern pitcher to not need TJ surgery? I mean how has Clayton Kershaw been able to avoid going under the knife for it?

Reyes starts Monday for Class A, then on the 19th for AA, then Memphis, then likely back up to the majors if all goes according to plan.

After missing last season, I've admittedly almost forgotten about Alex Reyes which is crazy considering how big of an impact he could have on the staff. I can't wait to see him pitching.
