There will be a few injuries.
Some guys will do better than we think they will.
Some guys will do worse than we think they will.
They'll win more games than they lose and maybe make the Wild Card.
If they make the wild card and are hot and healthy at the right time they might take the whole thing.

In other words, if Pete Best suddenly keels over, we should like Adams' chances while being really worried about Paul.GeddyWrox wrote:Not to pick on CardsofSTL, but there is a better chance of a Beatles reunion with all 4 original members than of Adams winning the batting title.

Don't be so sure...it's my understanding that Adams is in the best shape of his life.GeddyWrox wrote:Not to pick on CardsofSTL, but there is a better chance of a Beatles reunion with all 4 original members than of Adams winning the batting title.
You can pick on me all you want...I'm just being a bold ass.

That would really be something. If I had to bet on Matheny becoming a GRB hero or Wong hitting 40 HR I'd take the latter.CardsofSTL wrote:Matheny wins manager of the year and the hearts of Cardinals fans everywhereJL21 wrote:This thread needs more predictions about bold asses.

Jordan Schaefer's attempt to become a hybrid OF/RP will be derailed by unexpected elbow surgery.

Realistic one: John Gant will be our fifth starter. Nobody would have guessed that it'd be possible three weeks ago.

One of Grichuk or Wong break out and have a 4 WAR season.
Wainwright and Leake each lower their ERA by more than half a run over last season.
