It would be nice to be three games up on the Cubs after this series.

This game will be interesting...which under-performing pitcher will outperform the other today?

Does anyone know what Wainwrights ERA at home vs on the rd is so far this season? Hoping my blood pressure will lower just a bit...if any.

Wainwright's FIP is about 2.5 runs lower than his ERA (3.78). His stats should adjust themselves over the season.

That's a good point. Thinking back to his last start... had Cecil stranded Adam's inherited runners or even just limited the damage instead of opening the floodgates, Waino would have finished with a respectable line, even if he didn't go deep into the game.

What are his walks per 9? Because he puts himself in bad places by nibble-nibble-nibbling.. Yeah Cecil is hot garbage and MM should know not to use him in high leverage situations. But hey Adam, don't walk those guys to begin with.
