They also have the highest revenue in team history, and it's going up next year with the TV deal.

I'm not at all upset about losing Robert, but it would be nice to land another top tier free agent with a track record. Seems like they should be able to afford that.

Now, the Cardinals spend 44-45% of revenues on players' salaries - and it's heading lower.

Think of all that DRY POWDER

Mozeliak was dumb enough to trot that excuse out there following the misfire on Robert

I would imagine it'll be the last time we hear that particular excuse.
