I thought the same thing. I'm also getting a SLSF "our decade is over" vibe.

Not even close.

How about sticking with the facts and leaving personalities out of it?

Those guys are public figures.

Once again, how about addressing the facts? (last chance)

I'm not a public figure, but I am a fan. Apparently a stupid one.
You seem bitter.

Sure, here are two facts.

1. The Cardinals have had a winning record in 17 of their past 18 seasons, not counting the winning record in the current season.

2. Batting average is one of the poorest quantifiable ways of measuring the overall value of a player, essentially a step up from "he just looks like a gamer."

Their other numbers stink on ice also.

There won't be one all-star position player from this ballclub. Not one.

The Cardinals may not make the postseason this year. They may not even finish at .500.

No matter how angry I get on an internet forum about that, it probably won't change. I probably will not be providing the Cardinals any source of revenue this year outside of my MLB.tv subscription. I'm doing my best to make my wallet do the talking. Hopefully the lack of revenue from me will directly result in All-Star caliber talent being added to the Cardinals in the near future.

Hopefully everyone feels better now. This is serious business, and we need to take it seriously.
