Cardinals are 13-18 in 1 run games this season. Roughly a third of their total games so far if my 3rd grade education is correct.
It seems like a much higher percentage but good lord, that's still way too many and not a good record in those 1 run games. Cardinal baseball is just too stressful for me this season. I am actually glad that I gave up cable so that I can't watch nearly as much as before.

Pretty sure Carp doesn't expect him to be here in a week and a half.

Seems like a fair statement from a veteran.

I don't have a problem with it. Someone should've called him on his baserunning mishaps earlier this year.

Lets use the 2006 model and go to Weaver for the 9th.

Why? What's the point?
Good point Broncos.

I know the last thing I'd want a well regarded young prospect to get was MLB experience.
He'll probably be a September call-up.

I'm not sure I'm a fan of somebody who is paid to hit saying that it's OK to strike out while calling out a pitcher like that. My issue isn't the comment about mental lapses not being acceptable because he's right, I just don't like the bit thrown in about it being OK to strike out while calling Rosenthal out for the lapse. Especially since Marp has made a couple of mental errors in the field that have cost the Cards a good deal early on if I remember correctly.

Exactly...carp is the last one who should be calling someone out for a mental lapse/mistake.
