Then again, Carpenter may be auditioning for The Nutcracker.

Think about blind squirrels and nuts. It happens.dmarx114 wrote:Nice to see some decisions finally work out for Matheny (Rosey for 2 innings, sac bunt, pinch hitting Gyorko).

The throw was fairly strong, but not only did it short-hop the catcher, he also didn't do himself any favors by getting himself in a good position to throw whatsoever...it looks to me like Cargo, for some reason, has cashed it in this season.dmarx114 wrote:Cargo threw the same in between hop that fowler threw on Saturday at wrigley.

Cargo is batting .227/.301/.342/.644 and has been worth -1.3 WAR. He's an [almost] everyday player for one of the best teams in the NL.cardinalkarp wrote:The throw was fairly strong, but not only did it short-hop the catcher, he also didn't do himself any favors by getting himself in a good position to throw whatsoever...it looks to me like Cargo, for some reason, has cashed it in this season.dmarx114 wrote:Cargo threw the same in between hop that fowler threw on Saturday at wrigley.

This one looks like Bader is lifting off and Marp is holding on for the ride (spoilered for size):

I don't typically watch post game interviews, but Lynn was uber testy. I know he's got a dry persona, but it seemed like those reporters were on eggshells.

Lynn's post game interviews are always like that. The only difference is sometimes he means it and sometimes he's being sarcastic. He's actually one of my favorite interviews in this clubhouse.MinorLeagueGuy wrote:I don't typically watch post game interviews, but Lynn was uber testy.
