Seeing as how we're all "deaf dumb and blind," it doesn't matter.

Would I like my favorite baseball team to make the playoffs?

I would say YES. If you're still playing after the 162 gm. season you made it to the post season, and the "playoffs".CardsofSTL wrote:If we get the second WC and lose the play in game; does it count as making it to the playoffs?
But they call it a play-in game....like you are outside of the playoffs, trying to get in. So "they" have their opinion and others have theirs.

I think we're saving all our competent baserunning and defense for the playoffs. And who knows what kind of exciting ways we could cook up for tripping over our own asses and losing to the Cubs in a playoff series (probably somehow ending up with a runner in tighty whities and socks between second and third). So I say sure.
I doubt it will have any effect on how big the Cardinals talk about the next significant roster formation period anyway.

If they do make it, who knows - maybe they win it all.
If they don't, does that make the FO more motivated to make positive roster changes? I'd like to think so, but in reality I'm not sure it changes much.
If they don't make it, I'm definitely rooting for the Rox to get the second spot and making a little run.

This...but as someone else said, as long as it doesn't persuade the FO into thinking no major moves need to be made in the offseason.ZigZagCardsFan wrote:Would I like my favorite baseball team to make the playoffs?

Yes - because then it sets up Number 1 on this list of potential postseason hilarity:
