I actually think they would. A 1 round caliber starting OF with quite a bit of upside is actually a little more than I would like to give up for a closer, but it's pretty even. I'm concerned with the enormous drop-off in strikeouts and swinging strikes. Goold has been talking up the Cardinals-Colome connection since August, so I suspect this gets done. Just hope it's not an overpay.

I don't see the "upside" with Piscotty. I think the 2016 version-- which is a good not great player-- is the upside.

if a deal gets done, i think everyone will be surprised the type of prospect(s) it takes to land colome.
