Thanks cardsfantx, I was just assuming they would stop him at 4IP. Maybe they liked how he was rolling and wanted to push him a little further. Good stuff!

Only Bumgarner, Hendricks, Scherzer, and Verlander have more strikeouts than Flaherty this spring. Flaherty leads all pitchers in K/9.
