He throws WAY harder than Woodrow.

I don’t think so bc he was never good when he was in MLB before.

I was thinking about a Woody Williams comp for Mikolas when I did some eval on him earlier. You can squint and see some similarities. But you do have to throw the velocity differences out the window because they are not remotely close. That said, everyone is throwing a lot harder these days, so maybe Woody would have 95 mph fastball if he was pitching now.

Probably not.

Their season wRC+ is 92 (compare to the Cards at 96), which is good for 22nd.

Their wRC+ over the last 30 days is 100 (compare to the Cards at 94), which is good for 13th.

Jay shouldn't be leading off, but the 2-5 hitters are really quite good. Soler in particular is having a breakout year.
Tough to compare AL and NL when it comes to wRC+ due to the DH. The Cards' 96 is good for 7th in the NL. The Angels are 7th in the AL with a wRC+ of 105. It's somewhat surprising that the Cards have a wRC+ that high when they had so many everyday players struggling so badly for so long.
