The Mets new pitching coach is 82 years old and hasn't been on a Major League coaching staff since 1999.

Yes, and they did so to clear room for Travis Shaw, who had a .548 OPS before suffering a wrist injury (those never linger!), and put up a .681 OPS on his rehab assignment. Thank you, Brewers.

Shaw is hitting .174 .309 .326 .635 since this post. Hiura has hit .327 .405 .673 1.079 in AAA since.
