Jimmy Ballgame? Surprised they let that number go to just anybody.

But I got to admit, we got more of a Mid-Sized City didn't we?

Holliday, Jay, Furcal and Grichuk have all worn it.

#4 and #5 get retired and no other numbers get retired until a few years after Gorman hangs it up.

He offers pop from the left side off the bench and a platoon bat for Gyorko.

He might be worth one win, which at this point could mean everything.

Also it means no other contender could get Adams and win one extra game.

Sort of an endorsement. Is the move commensurate with the circle-jerk that erupted over the move? If he hits a game winning HR late in the year, maybe one that steals the division from the Cubs? Stay tuned. I hope he turns out to make a difference. We are all looking for the same end result... win baseball games and break the Cub's hearts.

The photo-shop circle-jerk may now resume.
No one thinks he’s going to carry us to a World Series, just he adds some potential power from the left side. As for the gifs we’re just having some fun. Kind of like when you fool around with an ex your just looking for a good time not putting a ring on it.

Personally, I think we should "retire" numbers and still let others wear them. Pretty sure that's what they do in football. Selectively, of course.

I'm fine with it as it is.

Gorman should wear #3 when he's called.

Also I am glad Adams doesn't have a douchey haircut anymore and now has a bad Great Clips cut.
